吴宁，博士，研究员，硕士生导师，入选2018年度广西高校引进海外高层次人才“百人计划”，2025年广西“八桂之光”访问学者。2007年毕业于英国拉夫堡大学，获得光学工程博士学位；2007年~2010年于英国GT-Vision公司担任技术主管；2010年~2017年于哈尔滨工业大学（深圳）担任助理教授，2017年至今任北部湾大学教授。以第一作者及通讯作者身份发表学术论文50多篇。曾获得广西科技奖发明三等奖一项，广西高等教育自治区级教学成果一等奖一项。
